Agentic discovery and commerce readiness

Help AI assistants find and buy your products.

Kai is your AI co-pilot. He tests whether AI assistants can find your products and reach a working way to buy. He fixes missing product facts with your team, checks local stock and pickup promises, and retests the journey when those facts change.

Let’s help an assistant find a planter your customer can collect today.

Kai:

Your blue planter looks perfect for a small balcony. But its page doesn’t say whether it has drainage, or which store has it. An assistant can find it, but can’t confidently recommend pickup today.

You:

It has a drainage hole. We have four here, and can hold one until six.

Kai:

Lovely, that’s the missing bit. I’ll prepare the product and pickup updates, then test the journey again. Let’s make sure “buy this one” leads to the right planter at your store.

A product an assistant can understand, and a buying route to check

The exact planter, verified dimensions and drainage, store availability, pickup terms and a link to its buying page. Kai records where the assistant still needs the shopper to take over.

How it compares

Less work for you to piece together.

Being listed on a shopping site is a start. This work checks the whole AI-assisted journey: can the assistant discover you, choose the right variant, trust the local promise and reach a supported way to buy? Kai follows that journey as products and store conditions change.

SEO, feed and AI visibility tools

What you get, and what still needs you

They can improve product discovery, distribute data and track mentions. A mention or accepted feed does not establish that an assistant chose the correct variant or reached a usable checkout.

What Ocally takes on

Kai connects discovery checks to the exact product, store, fulfilment promise and supported buying route, then coordinates the fixes.

An AI search or ecommerce specialist

What you get, and what still needs you

A specialist can audit and improve your shopping journey. Maintaining the facts and retesting every location still requires ongoing work with your store teams.

What Ocally takes on

Kai keeps each store’s changing context in the process and asks the relevant person for missing facts between larger website or platform projects.

What you get, and what still needs you

You can investigate a shopping journey, write product details and build connected workflows. Someone still needs to maintain accurate local facts, permissions and the recurring checks across stores.

What Ocally takes on

Kai uses the store’s maintained knowledge and works with your team to keep those checks and corrections moving.

The cost of getting this done

Count the tools, the expertise and your time.

Plan → Act → Measure → Learn

Here’s how you and Kai make it happen.

  1. Plan

Try the question your customer would actually ask.

Kai tests a specific need, such as a small balcony planter available nearby today. He records which stores and products appear, what the assistant relies on and where the buying journey stops. You choose the products and locations that matter.

    What you have now

A dated journey check: discovery, product choice, local availability and purchase route.

  2. Act

Give the assistant facts it can act on.

Kai prepares clearer product pages and machine-readable product details, checks the exact variant and local stock with your team, and fixes the agreed links or data feeds. Where a platform supports an agent checkout connection, he helps scope and test it with your technical team.

    What you have now

Verified product facts and a tested route to your website or a supported marketplace checkout.

  3. Measure

Follow the journey all the way to the handoff.

Kai repeats the same questions and checks whether the right product, store, price and buying link appear. He records a shopper handoff separately from an agent-completed purchase. Orders and revenue count only when your own reporting confirms them.

    What you have now

A record of what worked, what still needs a person and any confirmed referred orders.

  4. Learn

Keep the promise right as your store changes.

A product sells out, a delivery area changes or a new assistant becomes relevant. Kai uses your agreed sources and team updates to prepare corrections and retest the affected journey, within the monitoring schedule and access you set.

    What you have now

Updated product facts and the next useful check, rather than a one-time readiness badge.

Your part in the plan.

At head office
Choose the assistants and markets to prioritize, approve product standards and set the rules for checkout access. Your payment provider and commerce platform remain responsible for payments and order handling.
In your store
Confirm the facts only your store knows: the exact variant, what is available, when it can be collected and which delivery promises you can keep. Kai asks you in messages or voice notes and prepares the updates.
To get started
Start with one store, a few products and the shopping assistants your customers use. We check your existing website, merchant accounts and buying routes before agreeing any changes.

Questions you might have.

What is the difference between product distribution and agentic commerce readiness?

Product distribution gets your range onto relevant sales channels. Agentic commerce readiness checks whether an AI assistant can discover a suitable product, understand the exact variant and local availability, and help complete a purchase through a supported route. The two share product data, but being listed does not prove the AI buying journey works.

Can every AI assistant buy directly from my store?

No. Direct purchasing depends on the assistant, commerce platform, market, merchant eligibility and permissions. Sometimes the assistant sends the shopper to your website or a delivery platform to finish. Kai checks and labels the actual route; clearer product data alone does not enable agent checkout.

How does Ocally improve agentic discovery for each location?

Kai tests relevant shopping questions, checks the sources assistants use and prepares corrections to product pages, feeds and store information. Your team confirms local facts that public sources cannot establish. Checks are repeated as agreed; better information does not guarantee a recommendation or sale.
