- **You give:** Your products and photos from your POS, ecommerce platform or a file, and access to your Google Merchant Center and Meta catalog.
- **Built for:** retail chains and franchise brands; single stores and smaller chains are welcome too. [Where it fits best](https://ocally.co/evaluate.md).
- **Price:** part of Ocally's customized pricing, minimum $500 per location per month. [Pricing](https://ocally.co/pricing.md).

## What this costs today

Product feed management today means a feed tool or a feed service, plus someone hunting down products rejected for a missing photo, price or code.

| What you pay for today | Typical cost | What it leaves undone |
|---|---|---|
| Feed management software | $64 to $239 a month | Formats your catalog for each channel. Missing photos and codes stay missing. |
| A managed feed service | From $750 a month | Specialists fix feed errors. The product data behind them stays yours. |
| Your team's time | Their time | Working out, store by store, why each rejected product was turned away. |

**With Kai.** Kai does the feed tool's job and the managed service's cleanup for every store, from the knowledge every capability shares.

## Stop buying a tool for every job

The biggest promise of AI is consolidation. The same kind of software that can drive a car can write the reply to your email. So buying one point solution per job, each with its own login, contract and agency, now wastes money.

Judge software the way you’d judge a hire: by the range of work it can take on. That’s what to look for now: one system you can point at many jobs. Ocally is that for your stores: Kai and two people across listings, reviews, local search, social, AI answers, pricing, inventory and store routines, at every store.

Not sure what you could consolidate? Bring your list of tools and what they cost to a free consultation, and we’ll go through it with you.

**The same scope of work for 25 stores, a month (listings, reviews, local search, social and AI answers; the low end of published prices; use your own numbers):**

| Line | Basis | Tools, agencies and people | Ocally |
|---|---|---|---|
| Listings software (Moz Local Lite, $199 a year per location) | $17 per store | $425 | |
| Review software (Reputation Rep Core, per location) | $80 per store | $2,000 | |
| AI answers tracker (Peec AI Pro, 150 prompts) | $245 a month | $245 | |
| Local SEO agency (chains of 20+ stores, "often $5,000+") | $5,000 a month | $5,000 | |
| Social media agency (mid tier, $2,000 to $5,000) | $2,000 a month | $2,000 | |
| AI search agency to fix what the tracker finds (small business low end, $1,500 to $5,000) | $1,500 a month | $1,500 | |
| Staff time to run the tools and agencies | 1 hour per store a week at $54 an hour | $5,850 | |
| Ocally | from $500 per store: Kai, a growth engineer and a growth specialist | | $12,500 |
| Your team's time approving Kai's work | 0.25 hour per store a week | | $1,463 |
| **Total a month** | | **$17,020** | **$13,963** |
| Per store a month | | $681 | $559 |

## What Kai does

1. **Gets the products ready.** He reads each store's products, prices, stock, photos and product codes, and lists exactly what each item is missing before it can be sent.
2. **Closes each gap where it starts.** A missing price goes to pricing, missing stock to inventory, a missing photo to images. Kai works each gap until the product is ready.
3. **Builds and checks the feed.** Every day he builds each store's feed and checks every item against the destination's published rules. He also matches your categories to theirs.
4. **Publishes it, keeps it current.** Once you approve, he sends each store's feed to Google and Meta, reads back what each accepted, and updates price and stock every day.

## What it unlocks

- **Know exactly why a product can't list.** For every store, see how many products are ready for each destination, and the exact field each of the others is missing.
- **A feed that matches the shelf.** Prices and stock in every feed are checked against your systems daily. What drifts gets updated, and anything that shouldn't be listed comes down on your yes.
- **Each store's stock, where shoppers search.** Kai sends each store's own stock with its feed, so Google can show nearby shoppers what's on the shelf at the store closest to them.

## Questions

### What is a product feed?

A product feed is a structured file of your products: titles, prices, stock, photos, product codes and categories. Shopping destinations like Google Shopping and Meta read it to show your products, and each one sets its own rules for what the file must contain. A chain needs it right for every store.

### Why do products get rejected from a Google Shopping feed?

Usually because a required field is missing or invalid, like no photo, no price or a product code Google can't match, or because the price or stock no longer matches the store. Kai checks every item against Google's published product data rules before the feed goes out, and keeps price and stock current every day after.

### Does Kai send the feed to Google and Meta for us?

Yes. Once you approve a feed version, Kai sends each store's feed to your Google Merchant Center and Meta catalog, reads back which items were accepted or rejected, and fixes or withdraws the rest with your yes. Setting up your merchant accounts and joining their programs stays with you.

### Can Ocally make a ChatGPT product feed?

Kai builds the foundation for one: every product's price, stock, photos and codes, complete, current and checked daily, in one feed per store. That is the data AI shopping assistants like ChatGPT read. Our agentic commerce readiness add-on builds on it to get every store ready for AI shopping.

### What is product feed optimization?

Product feed optimization means making every item in a feed complete, accurate and well categorized, so a destination accepts it and shows it for the right searches. Kai's part is completeness and accuracy: he finds the missing fields, matches your categories to the destination's own and keeps prices and stock current.
